Watch the landscapes turn from green to gold as we begin our gastronomic adventure in southern Navarra and its many acres of vineyards and olive groves. Join us as we visit the regional wineries for wine tasting, and a Trujal, where the olive oil is processed, for olive oil tasting. Lastly we visit the famous Mejana, the heart of Navarra’s vegetable producing region. You will be amazed by unique vegetables as our Chef, Santi, takes us into his vegetable garden. Watch our chef carefully carve out the heart of the cardoon plant with his jackknife, or pluck a leaf from some of his exotic lettuces for you to pop into your mouth and savor while you bask in the warmth of a southern sun. With our baskets of fresh veggies in hand, we join our chef in his magnificent restaurant for an exquisite haute cuisine seven-dish sampling menu. Here our vegetable collection from the garden is transformed, and will have you redefining your concept of the word “vegetable” by the time you reach the third dish.
