The hotel is strategically located in the town Briones which is the ideal center for our culinary journeys to discover the region and its gastronomy. It is considered to be one of the best hotels in La Rioja.. It is already one of the best hotels in La Rioja. Santa María Briones is the dream of the owner family, at the head of Jaría Hotels. Javier is originally from la Rioja, while his wife from Puerto Rica. Together they decided to return from the United States to the origins of the former to unleash their love for the land. And here, in the historic center of Briones, they found the 16th century mansion which is how they began their project. Javier’s daughter Raquel, who is in charge of the property, has coordinated the recover of the building without altering its essence thanks to the architect Ignacio Quemada and the interior design studio Isabel López Vilalta & Asociados.
