Our journeys are designed as deep cultural and gastronomic immersions, where experiences unfold through encounters with local heroes. These are people deeply connected to their territory. Through them, travelers don’t just visit a region, they come to understand its history, traditions, creative spirit and way of life.
How it all began
Northern began as a family business where our goal was to share with foreign travelers the essence of the land we lived on and treasured.
As Canadians raised in the basque culture we were eager to share this cultural treasure through its people. This is how Northern comes to a start, as we understood what foreigners were looking for and after years traveling through Northern Spain our circle of connections expanded giving us the chance of creating immersive holidays for those travelers that were looking for something unique.

Sharing a meal with a chef in their own kitchen. Listening to a winemaker explain a landscape through wine. Discovering a region’s story through art, craftsmanship or science.
