Some legacies are inherited.
Elena chose to reclaim hers.
Born into a family of winemakers in Navarrete, Elena grew up surrounded by vineyards, stories and the quiet pride of a craft passed down through generations. When winemaking paused in her family line, the legacy waited. Years later, she returned — determined to restore not just a winery, but a way of understanding the land, tradition and the patience great wine demands.
Reflective, warm and uncompromising in her standards, Elena works with a rare balance of heritage and ambition. She honours the rituals she grew up with while pursuing wines of striking quality and complexity. For her, tradition isn’t static — it’s a foundation for exploration. Each vintage is both preservation and experiment, a dialogue between memory and possibility.
Today, Elena leads her own boutique project at Bodeguita Elena Corzana in La Rioja, crafting limited-production wines with meticulous care. Small batches. Exacting standards. Constant curiosity. She is endlessly driven to test new ideas, new methods, new expressions of terroir — always in pursuit of depth, elegance and authenticity.
